Part 1: How to convert DVD movies and all kinds of vides to SWF\FLV with 3 steps?
In this Part, you can easily convert DVD Video to SWF and convert DVD Video to FLV.
Step1 Import DVD\video
Click "Add Video" to add all kinds of video including standard and HD video. And click "Load DVD" to load DVDs from DVD Rom/Folder (data DVD)/IFO/ISO files respectively.

Step 2: Select output settings
Click "Customize", you can customize the output settings with the following 3 steps:
Step 1: Adjust output quality
Select output quality in "Profiles" drop-down list. And you can also adjust audio/video settings according to your preference. It is suggestive to keep the defaulted settings.

Step 2: Select output format

Tip 1: How to edit video (crop, adjust effect, add watermark and subtitle)?

Crop video
You can resize the video file by clicking "Crop". You can get the desired size of video by zooming, dragging crop frame or setting the related parameters.

Adjust video effect
If you want to make some special effect to the video, you can realize it by setting brightness, contrast and saturation etc. You will get an intuitive preview of the video effect before and after adjusting with two real-time previewing panes.

Edit watermark
If you want to get a personalized flash video by adding some information to it as watermark, you can realize it by adding either text or image information. You are also allowed to resize the added text/image.

Add plug-in subtitle
If you have got some videos with the corresponding plug-in subtitle file (usually in SRT format), you can add the subtitle to the video under "Subtitle" tab.
Note: The source file you import should be MKV file, and the plug-in subtitle file should be in SRT format. And you still have to put the MKV file and subtitle file in the same folder with the same name.

You can merge multiple files into one file. Check all files you want to merge and then click "Merge", the selected files will be merged into one file.

You can make a slideshow by joining multiple video files. Check more than 2 files, and click

Part 3: How to customize SWF flash video?
If you select to generate SWF video, you can customize SWF flash video by selecting flash player template, applying special effect, adding head and tail, etc. In the process of generating SWF flash video, the program will automatically generate FLV video first, and then convert video to SWF flash. There are 3 choices for you when you want to generate SWF flash video.

When you select to embed the FLV video in SWF and play it in timeline, you can do the following operation to customize SWF flash video.
1. Select flash player template from "Player" tab,
2. Apply special effect from versatile choices from "Effect" tab,
3. Add either text or image as watermark from "Decorate" tab. When you click on the text or image watermark, it will automatically open the link you have specified.
4. Add head and tail to flash video. Click "Head" and check "Add Credits", you can add image/content to decorate your flash head. You can also apply the transition effect to the added content. You can follow the same operation to add tail to SWF flash video.

2. Play the created external FLV file progressively
If you select to create an external FLV file while generating a SWF flash video, you can only select flash player template, apply special effect, and decorate video. Furthermore, you can select your favorite preloader mode from "Preloader" tab.
3. Get the FLV path from a URL variable and play progressively
When you select to get the FLV path from a URL variable, you can apply the customized flash player template to play different FLV files whether it is downloaded from internet or from other ways. You can follow the steps below:
1. Set a value as FLV file path. "abc" is defaulted by the program. You can change it to any value you like.

2. Customize flash video. The operation steps are same as mentioned above.
3. After conversion, you will get a FLV file, an html file and a SWF file. (Note: Here, the generated SWF file can’ be played for it is a flash player template.)Browse output folder, right click the html file, select "Open With", select "Notepad", and now you have opened the source file.
4. Replace the file name followed by the value you have set. You can replace it with any other FLV file name. Then you can play the replaced FLV video with the flash player template you have set.
